Summer is here, which is when the highest number of homes go under contract. However, it can feel like the market slows down during the summer, due to the greatest number of new listings coming on the market, which creates disbursed buyer energy. When comparing July 2019 to July 2018, new resale listings and sales activity intensity are down, the number of homes going under contract is slightly off, and unsold inventory is up in Boise.
